New details have emerged regarding the rumored set of requirements discussed during the gathering involving Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds, Justin Baldoni from Wayfarer Studios, and Jamey Heath.

A gathering was arranged among executives from Wayfarer Studios, Sony, Lively, and her husband Ryan Reynolds (also mentioned), as reported by THR. During this meeting, it’s said that Lively expressed her intention to quit the movie unless Baldoni and Wayfarer producing partner Jamey Heath consented to specific terms. These conditions, according to the report, were a comprehensive list of 30 demands, primarily focused on improving the chaotic working environment on the film set.

This week’s report from THR highlights some of the requests that were made, as outlined in an updated complaint filed by Lively in the Southern District court. The list of 17 demands allegedly includes:

1. A request for no further references to genitalia directed towards Lively.
2. A request for no more discussion about their past struggles with pornography, specifically excluding Lively and other crew members from such conversations.
3. A request for no more discussions with Lively or her team regarding their personal experiences related to sex, particularly experiences involving spouses or others.

In addition, the requirements stipulated that Sony would bring in a seasoned, top-tier producer (specifically an “A-list” veteran) to collaborate with Lively. The legal complaint filed by Baldoni states that he and Heath consented to these demands under pressure, which sources close to THR suggest was not the ideal course of action for Baldoni in the first place.

A confidant of The Hollywood Reporter commented on the issue when the requirements were initially disclosed, stating, “He shouldn’t have approved it.” However, upon closer examination, the statement doesn’t promise to cease those actions. Lively’s initial complaint alleges that Baldoni created a hostile work environment

Everything originates from a formal grievance lodged by Lively against Baldoni in December. In this complaint, she expressed concerns about the deteriorating working conditions during the production of It Ends With Us, leading to an urgent meeting being convened regarding her allegations of a toxic work environment. During the meeting, Lively requested that Baldoni cease sharing explicit videos or images of women, stop referencing his pornography addiction to her, refrain from discussing sexual experiences in her presence, and also desist from making comments about Lively’s weight.

The claim also states that Wayfarer Studios and the cast reached an agreement where the promotion of the movie would emphasize Lively’s character’s strength and resilience rather than labeling it as a tale about domestic violence. However, Lively alleges that Baldoni went back on this promise by discussing the film’s heavy subject matter during interviews instead.

According to Lively, it was alleged that Baldoni and his PR manager, Melissa Nathan, brainstormed strategies for a social media smear campaign intended to tarnish her reputation.
