Blake Lively to Appear on Seth Meyers Talk Show Amid Lawsuit

I’m thrilled to share that I, myself, will be gracing the stage on “The Late Night with Seth Meyers”! This will be my debut on a talk show since the legal drama with my co-star Justin Baldoni from “This Ends with Us” came to light several months back. Notably, recent events have led to a wave of criticism and controversy, following TIME Magazine’s recognition of me as one of 2025’s 100 Most Influential People. I can’t wait to share my side of the story and discuss other exciting topics during the show!

Here is what we know about Blake Lively’s scheduled appearance on The Late Night with Seth Meyers.

Seth Meyers will bring Blake Lively on his talk show amid lawsuit

Blake Lively will appear on The Late Night with Seth Meyers on May 1, 2025.

The actress is set to make her third visit to Seth Meyers’ NBC chat show, having previously appeared in June 2016 and April 2015.

Actress Blake Lively is expected to make an appearance on a popular talk show to publicize her upcoming film, Another Simple Favor – a follow-up to her 2018 release A Simple Favor, co-starring Anna Kendrick, Henry Golding, and Bashir Salahuddin. Incidentally, the movie will be available on Amazon Prime Video on the very same day as Lively’s scheduled interview with Seth Meyers on Late Night.

We’ll have to wait and see if Lively discusses her ongoing court case with Justin Baldoni during this event, as the private nature of the lawsuit might prevent her from doing so.

During an appearance on Saturday Night Live’s 50th anniversary special in February, Ryan Reynolds seemed to hint at the ongoing lawsuit, though subtly. Accompanying his wife Blake Lively, he rose to ask a question of hosts Tina Fey and Amy Poehler. In response, they asked him how things were going. Instead of answering directly, he questioned them about what they had just heard, which left Lively looking surprised as she looked at him.

Recenty, Megyn Kelly, a journalist and political commentator, criticized Lively’s public appearance at the TIME100 gala. In an interview with Daily Mail, she labeled Lively’s accusations against Baldoni as “unfounded” or “bogus”.
