They explained that the tactic used by Baldoni-Wayfarer of retaliating with counterclaims has opened them up to additional damages under California law. This makes some of “Ms. Lively’s initial claims” redundant.
According to their statement, Ms. Lively continues to assert emotional distress, among other allegations in her lawsuit like sexual harassment and retaliation, as well as substantial extra damages for all her claims. The court may choose to require the actress to disclose information concerning her mental health.
