Blake Lively Calls Ryan Reynolds ‘Favorite Fan’ Amid Lawsuit Drama

Lately, Blake Lively affectionately referred to Ryan Reynolds as her “preferred admirer” on social media, in appreciation of his endorsement of her beauty line, Blake Brown. This acknowledgement was made amidst the ongoing legal disagreement between the couple and director Justin Baldoni from It Ends With Us.

During the promotion of Blake Brown’s new product line, hair and body mists, Ryan Reynolds shared an Instagram story about it. Blake Lively then reposted this on her social media platforms. She disclosed that Reynolds is not just a supportive husband, but also a devoted user of the products himself. She confessed that she initially believed he was merely offering encouragement, however, she later realized that he genuinely loves the Wild Nectar Sandal scent.

She posted on her Instagram Story that he truly uses our Hair & Body Mists, with his preferred one being the Wild Nectar Sandalwood scent. I assumed he was just being an amazing and supportive husband, but it turns out he genuinely enjoys wearing them. She even went on to say how the scent smells incredibly delicious and sexy on him.” (via People)

For those less familiar, the recently launched fragrance collection includes two additional scents: Sandalwood Vanille and Bergamot Woods. Lively mentioned that her husband blends these sprays with his cologne, resulting in a distinct and individualized scent. “The deeper, woodier notes become more prominent on his skin, while the sweeter tones subtly echo in the background,” she added.

She went on to express her wonder at how fragrances change depending on the person who wears them, stating, “It’s incredible how flexible scents can be, fitting each individual regardless of age or gender. The way it smells differently on him compared to me, and again, differently on us compared to our parents or teenage relatives – it’s truly astounding.” In a loving tribute, Lively acknowledged Reynolds as her “cherished admirer.

At present, Blake Lively finds herself both popularly admired and legally burdened. Last December in 2024, she leveled sexual harassment accusations against her co-star and director Justin Baldoni, claiming his on-set behavior was inappropriate and unprofessional. Baldoni has refuted these claims and counter-sued in January 2025. The drawn-out legal battle is set for trial next March in 2026.
