Todd Harris, the mastermind behind Eyes of Wakanda, recently sat down for a conversation with Entertainment Weekly and unveiled the initial glimpse of the upcoming Black Panther animated series.

The images that were unveiled offer a sneak peek into the warriors expected in the upcoming series. While Harris hinted that the production team behind the series aims to embody the true essence of the nation of Wakanda by keeping secrets, it seems that the photos may have inadvertently revealed the Hatut Zeraze, known as the Dogs of War, a covert police unit tasked with retrieving Vibranium. This team is also rumored to be similar to the CIA within Wakanda.

Speaking about them, he mentioned, “When an initial event sets loose some of these entities into the open world, it’s crucial to act secretly and prevent them from causing larger issues. We’ve witnessed the catastrophic consequences when a single artifact fell into the hands of a Super Soldier — it altered the fate of the entire world.

Harris continued by stating that “Eye of Wakanda” is positioned in the late Western Bronze Age. He explained, “I was fascinated by people’s perspectives on history. The tale unfolds towards the end of the Western Bronze Age, igniting this massive spy-thriller narrative that echoes throughout time…. It offers Wakanda-level James Bond characters, occasionally featuring a female protagonist as well. The captivating essence of Wakanda serves as the backdrop for these adventures.
