Binance Introduces Bio Protocol’s $BIO on Its Launchpool as Its 63rd Project

As a seasoned crypto investor with a knack for spotting promising projects, I find the recent addition of Bio Protocol (BIO) to Binance Launchpool quite intriguing. Having witnessed the growth and success stories of numerous projects on Binance, I am optimistic about BIO’s potential.

As a crypto investor, I’m excited to share that leading cryptocurrency exchange by registered users and daily average traded volume, Binance, has introduced a new project called Bio Protocol (BIO). This is the 63rd project on the Binance Launchpool. Starting from next Tuesday until the following Friday, Binance exchange users can start farming the BIO token. So, let’s mark our calendars and get ready to participate!

To be eligible for the BIO token airdrop, users on Binance Launchpool need to commit their BNB and FDUSD tokens for a duration of 10 days during the farming period. This action precedes the anticipated Token Generation Event (TGE) scheduled for January 3rd. The listing of BIO tokens on Binance Launchpool signifies a significant milestone as we approach the TGE.

Additionally, Binance plans to add the BIO token to multiple trading pairs such as USDT, BNB, FDUSD, and TRY starting from Friday, January 3, 2025. This will be done using the Seed Tag system. Here’s a brief overview of the current status of these pairs:

Closer Look at Bio Protocol’s BIO Tokenomics

Approximately 56% of the total BIO tokens have been assigned to the community and ecosystem participants, with around 25.4% going to early contributors and another 18.6% reserved for initial supporters.

Significantly, the Bio protocol has established a lock-up period lasting more than 6 years for its early contributors, which includes a 1-year lock-out period before tokens can be accessed. Furthermore, the initial investors of the Bio Protocol will hold their token supply for a duration ranging from four to six years, with a 1-year lock-out period before they can be released.

As a crypto investor, I’ve learned that yesterday, the Binance Launchpool received a distribution of approximately 99.6 million Biocity (BIO) tokens. This allocation represents about 3% of the entire Genesis token supply. Excitingly, each day, the Binance Launchpool will dispense around 9.96 million BIO tokens, with 85% going to the BNB pool and the remaining 15% to the FDUSD pool.

As stated in the announcement, each user can collect up to 35,275 BIO tokens per hour from the BNB pool and approximately 6,225 BIO tokens per hour from the FDUSD pool.

What to Expect Ahead

As a crypto investor, I’ve watched the Bio Protocol blossom into a significant player in the Decentralized Science (DeSci) sphere. It’s been instrumental in assisting numerous scientific projects secure funding for their research and development endeavors. The BIO token has played a crucial role in this growth, facilitating the launch of countless new scientific projects through the BioDAO platform. This collective effort has swelled the protocol’s net market cap to surpass $300 million.

To foster lasting expansion, the Bio Protocol plans to debut the BIO token on both the Solana (SOL) and Base networks in the near future. This move is anticipated to significantly expand the decentralized science economy, making it accessible to every investor worldwide via blockchain technology.
