You see, I was busy rocking stages across Europe during that time. To set the record straight, those stunning images were AI-created, not a glimpse into my Met Gala 2025 experience.
Billie Eilish responded to comments about her Met Gala outfit being called ‘trash,’ saying she wasn’t actually at the event since she had a concert in Europe that night. She expressed her frustration by eating ice cream, adding, ‘I wasn’t even there!’ (as reported by Rolling Stone).
Over the Met Gala weekend, May 4th and 5th, I graced Amsterdam’s Ziggo Dome stage instead of the Metropolitan Museum of Costume. On those nights, I delivered electrifying performances that were a part of my European tour leg for Hit Me Hard and Soft. Interestingly enough, I had also rocked the same venue on May 7th.
It wasn’t just Billie Eilish who fell victim to AI-generated photos tricking fans into believing they saw a specific celebrity at the Met Gala 2025. Fans were also deceived by similar AI images that suggested Katy Perry had been there. However, Perry eventually clarified on Instagram that she wasn’t able to attend the event because she was busy with her Lifetimes Tour.
