As a seasoned gamer and movie enthusiast with over two decades of experience under my belt, I must say that the anticipation for “The Crow” reboot has been palpable, especially since Bill Skarsgård took on the leading role. Having grown up watching the original, I was initially skeptical about this remake, but with Skarsgård in the picture, all my doubts have vanished faster than a health potion in an MMO game.
In an era filled with remakes, The Crow wasn’t initially perceived as necessary. However, when it was revealed that Bill Skarsgård would be portraying the main character, our perspective changed.
Currently, you can catch the movie in cinemas, which is the best option if you want to watch it right now. Unfortunately, it won’t be available on Netflix for streaming later. However, we do have an idea of where it might be streamed instead.
In a retelling of events, “The Crow” revolves around the lives of Eric Draven and Shelly Webster, two deeply connected individuals who tragically meet their end when the ghosts of their past return to haunt them. However, fate offers Eric an opportunity for redemption. This path will require a heavy sacrifice: he can either seek vengeance against those responsible for their deaths or relinquish his life to resurrect Shelly from the grave.
The Crow will not stream on Netflix
Following its big-screen debut, I’m thrilled to share that “The Crow” will soon find its way onto streaming services. Unfortunately, it seems Netflix won’t be its initial home sweet home. However, there’s a glimmer of hope – it could eventually call Netflix home, but that might not happen for a few more years.
In relation to a Lionsgate film, there are several streaming platforms where it might be distributed. Initially, it seems destined for Starz. Subsequently, it’s expected to move to Peacock. NBCUniversal secured the Pay-2 window, which refers to the second streaming platform where the movie will be available. Historically, Starz has maintained the Pay-1 window, meaning it continues to hold the primary streaming rights.
The Crow cast
Bill Skarsgård has been cast as Eric Draven, and his involvement in this reboot has us incredibly thrilled. With the Skarsgård family, it’s always a guarantee of excellence. They breathe life into every role they take on!
FKA Twigs will take on the role of Eric’s fiancée, Shelly. The rest of the cast is made up of:
1. Danny Huston portrays Vincent Roeg, a ruthless crime boss with demonic tendencies.
The movie’s conclusion leaves room for a possible follow-up if it proves popular at cinemas. To catch all the action, it would be best to see it in the theater initially, followed by watching it on streaming once it becomes accessible.
