Bill Skarsgãrd has joined the cast of The Death of Robin Hood.
The upcoming film titled “The Death of Robin Hood” is a production by writer-director Michael Sarnoski, known for his works like “Pig” (2021) and “A Quiet Place: Day One” (2024). Previously, it was revealed that both Hugh Jackman and Jodie Comer will grace the screen in this movie.
Excitedly speaking, I’ve just learned that Alexander Skarsgård is now part of the star-studded cast for an upcoming movie! This project is a collaboration between Lyrical Media and Ryder Picture Company. Can’t wait to see what magic they’ll create together!
Who else has joined the cast of The Death of Robin Hood?
Besides Jackman, Comer, and Skarsgård, the cast for The Death of Robin Hood also includes Murray Bartlett (from The White Lotus) and Noah Jupe (known for A Quiet Place).
Struggling with his criminal past, a weary lone gunman ends up severely wounded and under the care of an enigmatic woman who presents him with a path to redemption. This is the story of Robin Hood’s final days as an outlaw.
This week, filming for The Death of Robin Hood commences in Ireland. Later, U.S. audiences can look forward to watching this movie, as A24 has obtained the distribution rights following the Cannes Film Festival.
In this film project, Aaron Ryder and Andrew Swett are the primary producers for Ryder Picture Company. Meanwhile, Alexander Black and Jackman from Lyrical Media also take on producer roles. Additionally, Sarnoski and Rama Gottumukkala act as executive producers. Jon Rosenberg and Natalie Sellers from Lyrical Media also hold executive producer positions.
Bill Skarsgård is recognized for portraying Pennywise in the films It (2017) and It Chapter Two (2019), which can be seen again in HBO’s Welcome to Derry. Some of his recent movies include Barbarian (2022), John Wick: Chapter 4 (2023), Boy Kills World (2024), The Crow (2024), and Nosferatu (2024).
A release date for The Death of Robin Hood has not yet been announced.
