As a devoted follower of Bigg Boss Tamil Season 8 and a connoisseur of Tamil cinema, I must say that this week’s elimination has me biting my nails to the quick. The house has been a rollercoaster of emotions, but it seems Ranjith, a seasoned actor with a rich career spanning decades in both Tamil and Malayalam cinema, might be bidding adieu to the Bigg Boss abode this week.
Week after week, Bigg Boss Tamil Season 8 has been brimming with excitement and turmoil, moving steadily towards its conclusion in January 2025. With double eliminations during weeks 9 and 10 inside the house, it appears that actor Ranjith could be leaving the house this week.
In this rephrased version, Vijay Sethupathi is the host of a show that currently has 11 contestants: Muthukumaran, Soundarya, Jacquline, Raanav, Arun, Pavithra, Deepak, Anshitha, Manjari, Rayaan, and Ranjith. According to One India’s report, the actor did not perform well in week 11, as he received the least number of votes during that time.
This week, Muthukumaran has garnered the most favor among Bigg Boss Tamil house residents. Following closely are Raanav and Soundarya at second and third place respectively. Additionally, Arun and Anshitha have also gained significant support.
This week’s report indicates that while Pavithra, Deepak, and Manjari were holding steady in the mid-range of elimination polls, Ranjith unfortunately had the least support among the contestants. Consequently, Raayan and Manjari managed to outdo him, avoiding the threat of eviction this week.
At this moment, it’s uncertain if Ranjith is the contestant who will be eliminated, but we’ll find out after the special episode airing on December 21, 2024.
For the ones not in the know, Ranjith has been a prominent figure in both Tamil and Malayalam films for quite some time. Later on, he moved towards starring in Tamil television serials too.
The individual who debuted in Tamil cinema with the film “Pon Vilangu” in 1993 has since appeared in numerous movies such as “Maru Malarchi,” “Nesam Pudhusu,” and several others. Notably, he is recognized for portraying villainous characters, taking on leading antagonist roles in films like “Natturajavu” with Mohanlal, “Chandrolsavam,” and “Rajamanikyam,” which starred Mammootty.
In 2020, the actor made his debut on television with the series titled Senthoora Poove, followed by Baakiyalakshmi. Interestingly, this actor is married to actress and TV host Priya Raman, a union that took place in 2018, after they had previously divorced in 2014.
This coming evening, catch the Saturday edition of Bigg Boss Tamil Season 8 with special guest Vijay Sethupathi, airing on Vijay TV at 9:30 PM. For those who can’t make it to television, don’t worry! You can still watch it online through Disney+ Hotstar.
