It’s said that the individual under suspicion aimed to tarnish the actress’ reputation by sharing a video of her on various social media outlets. According to reports, Oviya went to the Thrissur police station and named the person responsible in her complaint.
The actress disclosed that her one-time companion, Thariq, disseminated the manipulated video as a method of retaliation. She detailed the steps she had to take to keep her distance from the suspect because of his actions.
Oviya asserted that Thariq published a doctored video as retaliation for her choice. Additionally, she declared that he possesses other altered videos and pictures of females he associates with, which raises worries about his inappropriate actions.
Previously, Oviya’s representative had spoken to News 18 and confirmed that the actress was not featured in the leaked video. The representative stated, “The video is a manipulated one created by someone who aimed to harm Oviya’s reputation. She has reported the matter to the police commissioner and intends to take appropriate legal steps against the individual responsible.
Despite Oviya remaining silent in the current dispute, she previously shared a selfie on her Instagram, showing her with fingers crossed as a sign of hope. However, following the publication of this image, one social media user requested that she post the entire video, to which the actress responded, “I’ll do so next time, mate.
