The eighth season of Bigg Boss Tamil, led by actor Vijay Sethupathi, is moving along intriguingly following a dramatic weekend. Shockingly, Sunita Gogoi was removed from the reality TV show during its fifth week. The remaining contestants were visibly emotional upon her departure from the BB house.
Following her removal from the house, Sunita made her way to the courtyard where she shattered the Bigg Boss Tamil trophy. Later, she stepped onto the stage alongside host Vijay Sethupathi and expressed her feelings towards her fellow competitors. During this time, the Maharaja actor expressed his well-wishes for Sunita, encouraging her to begin anew after taking some time to consider her experiences within the BB residence.

18 contestants initially began their journey on Bigg Boss Tamil Season 8. In the fourth week, additional participants, or wild card entries, joined the house, bringing the total number of residents to 21. So far, some of the competitors like Ravindar, Arnav, Dharsha Gupta, and Sunita have been eliminated from the reality television series.
Currently, the list of competitors consists of Sathya, Soundariya, Ranjith, Sachana, Jacqueline, Raayan, Varshini, Shiva Kumarr, Jeffrey, Vishal, Deepak, Muthukumaran, Anshitha, Arun, Pavitra, Tharshika, Riya, Ranav, Ananthi and Manjari.
