In a poignant finish to Week 6 of Bigg Boss Tamil Season 8, hosted by Vijay Sethupathi, wildcard participant Riya was sent packing from the reality show amidst high-tension scenes. This sudden elimination took many by surprise as she had joined the house just a fortnight ago.
Following Riya’s departure from the competition, many internet users expressed their discontent on various social media platforms. One user posted, “I am completely UNHAPPY with this situation! It’s truly distressing to witness #RIYA in tears. I don’t understand why she was eliminated before #Sathya, #Ranjith, and others. At least she expressed her opinions! Expressing thoughts shouldn’t be considered a violation.
A different social media user commended Riya’s gameplay in Bigg Boss Tamil 8, stating, “Riya ~ She managed her game effectively. I believe she doesn’t deserve to be eliminated at this point. Some contestants appear to be less active.
A viewer expressed strong feelings upon Riya’s elimination from the program hosted by Vijay Sethupathi and wrote, “I’m feeling quite emotional about #Riya’s elimination. I don’t think I’ll feel this way about Ravinder either… She’s a girl with ambitions… I hope she achieves great things in her future.

As Riya was saying goodbye from the Bigg Boss Tamil 8 house, her feelings got the better of her. Her departure left quite a few people in tears, but she managed to keep her emotions in check and bid farewell with a hopeful spirit.
Conversely, the rivalry is becoming increasingly fierce day by day. At this point, five participants have been removed from the program: Ravindar, Arnav, Dharsha Gupta, Sunita Gogoi, and Riya.
