The 12th season of Bigg Boss Kannada is about to begin, and fans will be thrilled to know that their beloved host, Kichcha Sudeep, will once again take the helm. In a surprising turn of events, the Kannada actor had declared last year that he would not continue as the host after the 11th season.

Kichcha Sudeep signs new contract with BB Kannada makers, sets one condition

As per a recent report by OTT Play, it appears that Kichcha Sudeep has inked a fresh four-year agreement with the creators of Bigg Boss Kannada. This means he’ll be staying on as the show’s host for seasons 12 to 15.

Previous rumors suggested that the Max actor might have multiple requirements for resuming his hosting role, but in truth, Kichcha has just imposed a single significant condition.

The actor discussed the matter and stated, “They planned for it to begin on a specific day, but I asked them to delay it by about 3-4 weeks because I’m determined to launch a film in 2025. Currently, Billa Ranga Baashaa is in progress, and another project will be unveiled soon.

During an interview with The Hindu, Kichcha Sudeep implied that there were hidden agendas within their channel partner, Colors. This revelation led him to make a decision and ultimately declare his departure from the show.

Instead, the actor emphasizes that he’s always found no problems with his local channel partner.

Nevertheless, he’s found dissatisfaction and unhappiness with how BB Kannada is portrayed at upper echelons, a contrast to other regional versions of the home-based reality show.
