Big Buzz: Ajith Kumar and Prashant Neel to collaborate on 2 films and enter Yash's KGF universe

As an ardent fan of Ajith Kumar, I can hardly contain my excitement upon hearing that my beloved star is set to collaborate not once, but twice with the talented Prashant Neel! The news has sent waves of exhilaration through the Thala Army.

Fans were thrilled after viewing the third poster of Vidhathu Maranam (Vidaamuyarchi) starring Ajith Kumar and Trisha Krishnan. Exciting news emerges for the Veeram actor’s supporters: reports suggest that Ajith Kumar will team up with Prashant Neel on not one, but two significant films.

Ajith Kumar to collaborate with Prashant Neel

According to multiple news sources, Ajith Kumar and filmmaker Prashant Neel are planning to team up for not just one but two exciting projects. These films will be overseen by producer Vijay Kirangadur under the Hombale Films banner.

I’m absolutely thrilled and can’t contain my excitement as I delve deeper into the latest scoop! According to a recent article in DT Next, Neel, who’s currently engrossed in working on the sequel to his Salaar franchise, had the privilege of meeting the legendary Ajith during a brief respite from filming Vidaamuyarchi. The acclaimed KGF director reportedly extended a heartfelt invitation for Ajith to join his next project, a proposition that has left me breathless with anticipation! This collaboration promises to be nothing short of extraordinary and I simply can’t wait to witness the magic unfold on the big screen!

Another fascinating point is that Prashanth is reportedly working on two upcoming projects. One is a solo film featuring Ajith, while the other is connected to the KGF franchise. There are rumors suggesting Yash and Ajith may act together for the first time in this second project. If these reports hold true, their collaboration could potentially culminate in KGF 3, although no formal confirmation has been given yet.

What’s next for Ajith Kumar?

Ajith Kumar was recently featured in H. Vinoth’s movie “Thunivu.” He’s currently preparing for the launch of two upcoming projects. The initial one is titled “Vidaamuyarchi” and stars Trisha Krishnan as his co-actor. This action thriller is helmed by Magizh Thirumeni and is being funded by Subaskaran Allirajah under Lyca Productions.

Instead of the main character, Vidaamuyarchi boasts a strong ensemble cast featuring Arjun Sarja, Regina Cassandra, Arav, and Nikhil Siddhartha in pivotal roles. Originally, the film was set to be helmed by Vignesh Shivan, but ultimately Thirumeni stepped in as the director.

Anirudh Ravichander is responsible for creating the film’s music score, while Om Prakash takes care of the cinematography and N.B. Srikanth handles the editing. The movie “Vidaamuyarchi” is almost finished and aims to hit theaters during Diwali. Assuming all goes well, audiences can look forward to experiencing Ajith’s pulse-pounding thriller on the big screen this festive season.

I’m excited to share that I’ve had the pleasure of learning about an upcoming film titled “Good Bad Ugly,” directed by Adhik Ravichandran. This movie is set to be released during Pongal/Sankranti in 2025. The talented Telugu actor, Suneel, will be joining the cast, along with some other notable names such as Sreeleela, Bobby Deol, and even Naslen from “Premalu.” It’s going to be an intriguing blend of talents, and I can’t wait to see what they bring to the table in this project.

Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar, through their production company Mythri Movie Makers, have funded the film “Good Bad Ugly.” Devi Sri Prasad, who has won a National Award, is in charge of the film’s music composition.
