The film “Big Ben” – a Malayalam mystery thriller – premiered in cinemas last July. Nearly 11 months later, it’s preparing for its digital release as the creators have successfully closed an advantageous streaming deal. Earlier predictions had suggested that it would appear on digital platforms earlier this year, but now, the producers have officially confirmed the news.

In a new turn of events, Big Ben chronicles the journey of Jean Antony, a policeman hailing from Kerala, who ventures to the United Kingdom alongside his wife, Lovely. Once settled, it’s Lovely who begins her career in the UK, while Jean follows suit. However, an altercation with a coworker of Lovely’s at their workplace results in Jean’s detention.

After the unfortunate event, social services step in and seize custody of their daughter due to concerns about the couple’s ability to care for her effectively. The movie then centers on Jean and Lovely’s efforts to regain contact with their child. They face challenges in comprehending and maneuvering through the intricacies of the British legal system.

Understanding the intricacies of British law and facing increasing demands, they embark on a legal struggle to reclaim guardianship.
