As a seasoned gamer who has spent countless hours wrestling with virtual opponents, I can empathize with Bianca Belair‘s recent loss to Iyo Sky on WWE RAW. Having built an impressive winning streak since joining the main roster, her defeat came as a shock, much like when my character suddenly took a hit from an unexpected attack in a game.
On WWE RAW, it was unexpected that Iyo Sky, a former Women’s Champion, defeated Bianca Belair. Since making her main roster debut in 2021, Belair has been a dominant force in the women’s division, becoming one of the promotion’s leading stars with few losses along the way.
Two weeks back on WWE RAW, Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn emerged victorious against Iyo Sky and Kairi Sane in a qualifying match for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships. The contest concluded when Damage CTRL got into an altercation with Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill, which caused enough distraction for Sky and Sane to lose focus and ultimately the match.
At the most recent WWE RAW, Iyo Sky had a heated exchange with Bianca Belair behind the scenes while Belair was getting ready for her bout against Kairi Sane. Sky voiced her annoyance over Belair and Cargill’s disruptive actions. Furthermore, Sky disclosed that Kairi Sane would be unable to fight due to a painful eye injury.
In a self-assured manner, Belair declared that she hadn’t asked for the contest against Kairi Sane but had always been ready to take on responsibilities as they arose. She proposed a fight with Iyo Sky in place of Sane, and Sky agreed. During that very event, Belair and Sky engaged in an electrifying bout. In the end, it was Sky who pinned Belair, thereby halting her victorious run and leaving the spectators stunned. After this unexpected defeat, which marked the end of her winning streak, a visibly taken aback Belair spoke out about the surprising turn of events.

Bianca Belair acknowledges Iyo Sky’s victory
Previously undefeated WWE Women’s wrestler Bianca Belair suffered her first single match loss on RAW, at the hands of Iyo Sky. This unexpected defeat left Belair clearly stunned. The last time Belair had lost a single match was in May during the Queen of the Ring tournament semifinals against Nia Jax. In the wake of this recent setback, Belair used Twitter to congratulate Sky on her victory and hint at a possible future rematch.
I appreciate what you did in the main event tonight, @Iyo_SkyWWE. Let me know when you’re ready to do it again. Or, if you’d like, bring your tag team partner along and we can all have a great time! #WWERAW (Women’s division)

In response, Sky thanked for the challenge and expressed her anticipation for their next meeting. It’s intriguing to watch if WWE RAW Manager Adam Pearce, who is currently grappling with managing Bronson Reed and Braun Strowman, will step in during the commotion. On the other hand, the women’s division put on a fantastic match. Viewers are on the edge of their seats waiting to see if Pearce will arrange another bout between Belair and Sky.
