In July 12th, the highly successful movie “Kalki” starring Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, among others was released. Prabhas and director Nag Ashwin were captured in a behind-the-scenes photograph shared on social media by the team behind Kalki (2898 AD). The image was taken at the film’s set, showcasing an elaborate design that resembles a futuristic landscape. In the background, spectators can make out Bujji, the advanced car featured in the movie, starring Prabhas.

Kalki 2898 AD lands into legal trouble amid success
More recently, Acharya Pramod Krishnam, a former Congress party member, served a formal warning to the creators of Kalki 2898 AD. This action was taken in response to concerns that the film had disrespected religious feelings.
As a lifestyle expert deeply connected to the rich traditions of India, I strongly believe in our deep-rooted emotional, spiritual, and devotional foundation. According to my understanding, Acharya emphasized that it is crucial for us to preserve the sacred values of Sanatana Dharma without alteration.
He expressed concern that this movie contradicts the teachings found in our sacred texts. The production has offended our deeply held religious beliefs. Consequently, we have documented our grievances and are anticipating a resolution.
