The 2013 narrative-driven video game “Beyond: Two Souls,” developed by Quantic Dream, has recently moved forward with its film adaptation. This project is being managed by Pageboy Productions, a company founded by the star of Beyond: Two Souls, Elliot Page.
According to Deadline’s report, Elliot Page and their production company, Pageboy Productions, have obtained the license to transform Beyond: Two Souls, originally developed by Quantic Dream, into a movie. In this game, Elliot Page and Willem Dafoe shared roles.
Speaking in a statement, Page expressed that filming the game was one of the hardest yet rewarding acting experiences throughout my career. The story’s complex narrative and deep emotional layers provide us with an excellent base to work on. Our goal is to develop a distinctive perspective of the characters and their adventures that strikes a chord with both longtime fans and newcomers alike.
In the current trend of video game adaptations, Beyond: Two Souls stands out due to its star actor also serving as a producer. Interestingly, the creative force behind the original content, Quantic Dream, is now developing their next project, titled Star Wars Eclipse.
