Beyonce’s Mom Talks About Family Amid Kanye West’s Twitter (X) Rant

Recently, Kanye West posted a series of harsh and disrespectful comments about Rumi and Sir, the twin children of Beyoncé and Jay-Z, on a social media platform (formerly Twitter). In response to these remarks, Tina Knowles, Beyoncé’s mother, has stepped in to defend her grandchildren and address West’s online outburst.

So what did Beyonce’s mother say? Did she rebuke West? Here is how she handled the situation.

What did Beyonce’s mom Tina Knowles post on Instagram?

Following the public criticism made by “Runaway” singer on Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s seven-year-old twins Rumi and Sir via social media, her mother responded with a post addressing the issue online.

Tina Knowles chose not to respond directly to West’s attack, but rather shared an Instagram video featuring a humorous joke, which could be seen as a subtle reference to his outburst. In this lighthearted manner, she said, “When a snowman has a tantrum, he has a meltdown.” The entrepreneur and fashion designer was speaking metaphorically about the situation.

Nevertheless, Knowles’ caption also carried a somber undertone. In it, she expressed the difficulty of maintaining a positive and elegant demeanor while challenging ignorance. “However,” she continued, “I am aware that no weapon devised against me or my family will succeed.” She concluded by stating, “This conflict is not mine to fight, but the Lord’s. I know that God has this situation under control.

Earlier, a tweet by Kanye West about Beyonce and Jay-Z’s children, which has since been removed, referred to them as having a condition often offensively referred to as “retarded.” He additionally asserted that having such children was a choice and praised artificial insemination. Later on, West expressed discontent over removing the post, mentioning that someone from his music team had contacted him asking him to take it down.

Later on, Kanye West posted a troubling sequence of tweets suggesting that Jay-Z might take his own life as retaliation. However, he later stated that he didn’t want Jay-Z to face any trouble for such actions, implying instead that Drake’s top shooter could carry out the act.

In another post on X, Kanye West appeared to apologize to Jay-Z, expressing love and regret. However, he vented about Jay-Z and Beyonce missing his 2014 wedding with Kim Kardashian, which he considered a slight. Kanye also expressed bitterness towards the couple for not being there during difficult times, as well as for failing to use their influence to secure more control over his children’s matters.
