Beth Phoenix Confirms Her Exit from WWE

As a seasoned gamer who’s spent countless hours immersed in the world of wrestling video games, I can confidently say that Beth Phoenix was always a force to be reckoned with, both in-game and on the mat. Her departure from WWE is undoubtedly a significant blow for the women’s division, but as a fan, it feels like she’s just hitting restart on her career.

Previously successful WWE Women’s Wrestler Beth Phoenix, who is married to AEW performer Adam Copeland, has made the decision to leave WWE. Throughout her tenure with the company, Phoenix amassed three Women’s Championship titles and had a highly respected career within the promotion.

In the annals of the wrestling firm, Phoenix cemented herself as one of the toughest female wrestlers ever. She entered the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) scene in 2006 and soon gained fame for her powerful performances within the women’s division. During her time with the company, she earned three Women’s Championship titles and an additional Divas Title as well.

Following a break from WWE in 2012, Phoenix reemerged in the limelight in 2017 when the organization inducted her into their Hall of Fame. In 2018, Phoenix assumed a part-time role as a color commentator, with her main focus being on women’s matches.

Initially, she declared her comeback from retirement and reteamed with Natalya, leading up to a bout at WrestleMania 35. Later on, she resumed her commentary role for NXT. But starting from 2022, she stepped back into the ring, making regular appearances alongside her spouse, Edge, until 2023.

Back in February 2023, Rhea Ripley and Finn Balor received a mixed tag team match challenge from Phoenix and Edge at the Elimination Chamber premium event. However, since then, Phoenix hasn’t been seen on WWE programming, while her husband, now going by Adam Copeland, has moved to AEW. Lately, it’s been disclosed that Phoenix’s contract with WWE has come to an end, leaving her free to work for any company.

As a diehard fan, I’m excitedly sharing the latest scoop! The formidable Beth Phoenix, who graced our screens as the former WWE Women’s Champion, recently spilled some beans in an interview with Chris Van Vliet. She dropped a bombshell – she’s parted ways with WWE, making her a free agent now!
