As a seasoned gamer with countless hours under my belt in The Finals, I can confidently say that these weapons are the crème de la crème of the game. Having tried and tested every weapon in the arsenal, I stand by my choice of these three for each class as the absolute best.
As a dedicated gamer in The Finals, I’ve found that the top-tier weapons are those that eventually dominate the meta. While it’s possible to excel with any gun, blade, or launcher, there are undeniably preferred choices when it comes to dealing significant damage to opponents consistently. Here’s a snapshot of three weapons for each class that you should seriously consider if you aim to wield the best guns in the game:
Best weapons for the Light
V9S
The V9S, known as both silent and powerful, delivers an impressive blow from unexpected distances. With the addition of sights in Season 4, a red dot sight on this silenced handgun significantly enhances your accuracy. Moreover, its fast firing rate allows you to swiftly defeat even the toughest enemies with minimal effort.
M11
Similar to the V9S, the M11 is a stealthy submachine gun that catches opponents off guard. Although it may not offer the same distance as the XP-54, it boasts a faster rate of fire. Its rapid-fire ability allows for quick elimination of larger targets, given you’re close enough or have a sharp aim. For optimal effectiveness, pair it with items like the Stun Gun and Cloaking Device to catch enemies off guard.
Sword
The Sword remains one of the more frustrating weapons to play against, especially when wielded by a talented Light. This is best used with the Evasive Dash for hit-and-run attacks. Dash in, get a slash, and dash away. Repeat this until your foe is dead. The main disadvantage here is obviously the lack of ranged damage, so you’ll be completely reliant on your ability to get out of danger.
Best weapons for the Medium
PIKE-556
Without a doubt, the Pike-556 emerged victorious during Season 4 for the Medium category. This exceptional marksman rifle offers the versatility to attach a scope, enabling you to achieve impressive shots at distances comparable to the SR-84 of the Light class. Yet, it also boasts a rapid firing rate and respectable hip-fire precision, making it an effective choice even in close-quarter skirmishes.
CL-40
Due to some adjustments in the Season 4 update, the Medium’s CL-40 grenade launcher is functioning exceptionally effectively. Two direct hits can eliminate a Light character, while three direct hits can take down a Medium and Heavy one. Don’t stress if you miss your mark, as its explosion radius has been increased to 30cm (from 9cm in Season 3), allowing for continuous firing. When three Mediums use it together, it becomes quite challenging to counteract. While skilled players can outmaneuver it, most opponents will be reduced to a rain of coins when hit by this powerful weapon.
AKM
Even with a smaller magazine size, the AKM continues to be the top choice for medium-range automatic weapons, offering improved precision when equipped with a red dot sight. Compared to the FCAR, the AKM’s slightly larger capacity rewards careful shooting, enabling you to secure additional kills effectively.
Best weapons for the Heavy
.50 Akimbo
Here are two Desert Eagles for you; their reputation precedes itself. The Heavy final offers precise shooting capabilities, deadly both at short and mid-length distances. It’s quite enjoyable to clean up Lights and Mediums with well-placed body shots, and watch them disappear entirely if you hit the critical spots. With careful timing, even a shaky hand won’t hinder your success.
Lewis Gun
Despite being scarcely effective during Season 3, the Lewis Gun has regained its luster following a recent adjustment to its recoil pattern. It’s more steady than the M60, which is formidable in its own right and now supports an attachment for a sight. What sets the Lewis Gun apart is that it deals more damage at longer ranges, so if you can manage the recoil, you can swiftly take down enemies.
Sledgehammer
The Sledgehammer is one of those unexpectedly powerful weapons in the game. A proficient Heavy player can effortlessly destroy both Light and Medium enemies as well as the surrounding environment with it. Adding the Winch feature makes certain that your enemy won’t be able to flee from your retribution. Keep in mind to use it strategically to shatter floors, ceilings, or walls to gain access to your adversaries.
In The Finals, numerous top-notch weapons are available, and while some might dominate the gameplay in a particular season, it’s feasible to utilize almost any of them to secure victory. If you haven’t made your choice yet, try using one of these, as they are undeniably the best weapons in The Finals during Season 4.
