Summary
- Grand Slam 1 And 2 increases weapon blunt damage by ten percent in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 for late-game advantage.
- Vanguard reduces shield block stamina cost by 30 percent, improving shield-inclusive combat builds in the game.
- The Tight Grip perk based on Strength stats makes knocking out enemies and stealth kills easier in KCD2.
In the game Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, strength is a crucial attribute that significantly influences the challenge level and fluidity of its melee-centric battle system. If you’re finding it difficult to handle the game’s combat and dying frequently, it would be beneficial to focus on boosting this stat.
This stat primarily influences the handling of weapons, the damage output of both armed and unarmed melee attacks, as well as expanding your load capacity, while also impacting stamina drain when wearing heavy armor. Given its significance in facilitating combat, it’s crucial to remember a few key perks associated with it.
7.
Grand Slam 1 And 2
- Increases the weapon’s blunt damage by five percent.
This enhancement doubles (doubling) the blunt damage increase of melee weapons by 5% each, resulting in a total boost of 10%. Although it may not appear significant at first glance, these two perks prove valuable for gameplay in later stages when you’ve mostly unlocked other Strength category perks.
As a gamer, I always find myself in tight spots during sword fights where one wrong move can cost me a significant portion of my health. Boosting the damage I deal even slightly means I’ll be able to dispatch foes more swiftly, avoiding those narrow escapes and ensuring I don’t meet an untimely end in many potentially lethal situations.
6.
Vanguard
- Shield blocks now cost 30 percent less stamina.
As a gamer, if my combat strategy revolves around using a shield, then the Vanguard perk is an absolute game-changer. This perk slashes your shield block’s stamina consumption by a massive 30%, meaning I can execute numerous shield blocks without worrying about running out of breath too quickly. Moreover, this reduction allows me to launch more counterattacks that would have been impossible in the past when my stamina was depleted.
As a gamer, I find myself drawn to characters sporting shield and single-handed weapon combos, thanks to this nifty perk. Typically, the stamina drain from blocking with a shield is a significant drawback, but not anymore!
5.
Heracles
- Your Charisma increases by one for every five levels of Strength.
If you’re building a character with a focus on Charisma and spells, Heracles could prove to be quite beneficial. For every five levels of Strength, your Charisma score will receive an extra point automatically.
This advantage is valuable to obtain, whether it’s during the mid or late stages of gameplay. At this juncture, your character’s Strength will typically be between 20 and 30. This bonus will provide you with additional Charisma points, making it simpler to pass those challenging skill checks in the latter stages, which are frequently influenced by elevated Charisma levels.
4.
Strong As A Bull
- Increases your carrying capacity by 20 pounds.
Here’s another way to convey the same information:
This new perk, Strong as a Bull, also boosts your carrying capacity. Previously, we had two other perks – Pack Mule and Hard-Working Lad – that enhanced this capacity. Pack Mule adds 12 pounds, while Hard-Working Lad offers an additional 8 pounds. But Strong as a Bull gives you the most benefit with a boost of 20 pounds. To maximize your carrying capacity, it’s best to get all three perks, which would result in a total increase of 40 pounds – that’s quite a significant improvement from the base carrying capacity!
If you often take loot from slain bandits, those particular skills – enhancing your carrying capacity and scaling it with level-ups – become crucial for smooth gameplay. Looting and selling equipment from fallen NPCs is an effective way to amass wealth in the game, and a larger carrying capacity significantly facilitates this process.
3.
Wrestler
- Makes it easier to win fights in the clinch.
The Wrestler skill boosts your edge significantly during hand-to-hand combat scenarios, specifically when you’re in a tight, physical engagement with your opponent, often referred to as a “clinch”. In this situation, you find yourselves pressing against each other, weapon-to-weapon. To prevail and inflict damage, you must rapidly tap the attack button repeatedly.
If you don’t make use of it, your adversary could potentially knock you off balance for a swift strike, which might inflict significant damage and potentially decide the outcome between survival and defeat. Since engagements in close combat frequently involve the clinch, this feature significantly boosts your edge.
2.
Tight Grip
- Makes it easier to knock out enemies or kill them stealthily based on your Strength stat.
The advantage “Tight Grip” boosts with your Strength level, allowing you a smoother experience in either subduing or eliminating an NPC stealthily. Typically, when attempting to choke an NPC unconscious, a somewhat elusive attack button prompt appears. If successful, there’s often a quick parry button prompt that can be tricky due to its limited click time windows.
This advantage usually eliminates the need for these two prompts when attempting to knock an opponent unconscious, depending on your Strength level. Additionally, it simplifies the execution of silent kills, making it particularly beneficial if you’re aiming for a stealth-focused character setup.
1.
Train Hard, Fight Easy 1 And 2
- Each perk reduces the required Strength for all weapons by two and five respectively.
As a gamer, I can tell you that this two-part upgrade significantly reduces the strength needed to wield all kinds of weapons, making them more potent and easier to handle. Given that it boosts my melee abilities across the board, it’s crucial I grab this perk ASAP to give myself an edge in combat!
The initial advantage decreases your Strength by 2 points, whereas the second advantage further reduces it by 5 points. Altogether, this decrease of 7 points can significantly impact combat situations. With higher-stat weapons, you’ll be able to deal full damage, and weapons suitable for your current Strength stat will perform better.
The first bonus knocks down your Strength by 2, and the second one reduces it by an extra 5 points. This total reduction of 7 points can have a big impact in battles. Higher-stat weapons will deal full damage, and weapons that match your current Strength level will work better.
