Throughout Seasons Heavy Metal and others, many gamers have favored the ICR-1 assault rifle, and they intend to carry on utilizing it during Season 7 (Synthwave Showdown) as well.
Originally introduced in Call of Duty: Black Ops III and subsequently included in COD: Mobile, the ICR-1 is an assault rifle characterized by its minimal recoil. However, it deals slightly less damage than most other assault rifles on offer.
Due to its minimal impact, it hasn’t managed to carve out a significant role within the Call of Duty: Mobile gameplay meta, which, in terms of assault rifles, has primarily been controlled by the M13, Kilo 141, and occasionally the MK2 Peacekeeper.
In the upcoming Season 7 (2024), you might notice the ICR-1 weapon more often as it now has enhanced durability and increased precision.
In order to maximize the potential of the ICR-1, it’s essential to pair it with top-tier attachments. To make your choice easier, we’ve created two customized ICR-1 setups for Call of Duty: Mobile Season 1 (2025); one tailored for battle royale mode and another optimized for standard multiplayer.
Best ICR-1 Loadout For Battle Royale
The configuration (ICR-1 setup) aims at enhancing the gun’s shooting distance, thereby making it effective on the expansive battle royale maps.
- Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor
- Optic: Classic Red Dot Sight
- Stock: YKM Light Stock
- Underbarrel: Strike Foregrip
- Ammunition: 40 Round Extended Mag
For this purpose, we’ve chosen to implement a Silencing Device, which mutes the weapon and extends its effective damage range by 25%.
As an enthusiast, I can say that the under-barrel Strike Foregrip is designed to minimize the kickback of your firearm, albeit with a slight compromise on your mobility and aiming down sights (ADS) speed.
To compensate for this, we’ve chosen the YKM Light Stock, completed with a Classic Red Dot Sight and a 40 Round Extended Magazine. The extended magazine provides you with additional ammo per clip, ensuring you can continue fighting for an extended period.
Best ICR-1 Loadout For Standard Multiplayer
As a passionate player, I find myself drawn to the agile nature of the ICR-1 loadout. Its enhanced mobility, combined with an impressive fire rate, gives it a feel reminiscent of a sub-machine gun. This setup is simply tailor-made for the game’s traditional multiplayer modes, making every round exhilarating.
- Barrel: YKM Integral Suppressor Light
- Laser: QWC Laser – Tactical
- Ammunition: 50 Round Fast Reload
- Rear Grip: Stippled Grip Tape
- Perk: Long Shot
To avoid extra weight, we’ve chosen to forego several heavy accessories for this setup. Consequently, you won’t find any underbarrel or muzzle add-ons here, and a regular stock is being used instead.
We’re making changes to this gun in order to make it lighter and more maneuverable. To enhance its shooting distance, we’ve selected the Long Shot perk and the YKM Integral Suppressor Light barrel.
The Stippled Grip Tape will give the gun even greater mobility at a small cost to recoil.
With the QWC Laser – Tactical, you’ll experience a decrease in your gun’s aim-down-sights (ADS) time, making this customized ICR-1 setup ideal for engaging enemies at a closer range.
