Best Destroy Decks In Marvel Snap

As a seasoned gamer with over two decades of card-slapping under my belt, I must say that Marvel Snap has truly taken me by storm! The variety of deck types and strategies it offers is simply mind-boggling. Among all these decks, the Destroy archetype seems to be the one that tickles my competitive spirit.

In the Marvel Snap game, there are distinct deck types exclusive to it. However, many other card games also feature aggressive (aggro), controlling, and resource-building (ramp) decks.

The “Destroy” deck adheres to the strategic category known as control, where a deep understanding of game mechanics is essential, and occasionally anticipating your adversary’s moves becomes crucial.

Among all the deck types, finding victories can sometimes be tricky because you need to guess your opponent’s next move, but fortunately, the decks we’ve prepared for you today come with backup strategies, making them highly dependable regardless of the circumstances you might encounter.

Kazar Carnage

It’s quite straightforward to acquire the Kazar Carnage deck as all its components are found within the initial pool (Pool 1).

What makes this deck so good is it can shut down aggro and combo decks.

1-cost cards are essential and versatile, useful in any scenario. Regardless of which 1-cost cards you happen to pull when you draw one or two, you won’t be significantly lacking in power. This is because the deck primarily revolves around Kazar, and if for some reason he isn’t drawn, alternatives such as Wolfsbane, Captain America, and Blue Marvel will be at your disposal.

In our strategy, plays will primarily revolve around the cards we initially draw during the game. When Nova is defeated, all of your other units receive a +1 boost. Ideally, we aim to place Nova with Squirrel Girl on turn 2, so that we can enhance squirrel units at various locations when Carnage is dropped later in the game. This will result in a board-wide +1 bonus.

If we have to lose a location, it should be the one we let Carnage eat up.

Elektra is an amazing card that you should never play first turn. Wait until your opponent begins buffing their 1 cost cards like us, but then drop Elektra opposite of them and watch all of their hard work go away.

Nightcrawler is versatile to place at any spot since he can remain at a site until it’s filled up, then transfer him and replace him with a character like Wolfsbane, for instance. Alternatively, you can shift him to advantageous locations if there’s an opening available.

accumulate or build upon the effects you currently have, unless you draw either Kazar or Blue Marvel. If you do draw either of these characters, ensure they are placed onto the game board.

In simpler terms, Kazar increases the cost of all 1-unit cards by 1, while Blue Marvel boosts the power level of all cards by 1. This setup allows for a rapid buildup on the game field, potentially outnumbering and overpowering your opponents.

Ongoing Destroyer

This fittingly titled deck primarily revolves around control and damage, specifically the intentional destruction of our own cards.

Our aim while using this deck is to respond swiftly, so it’s crucial to familiarize ourselves with the functions of each card because they cooperate in a highly strategic manner. Our target is to play the Destroyer by the 6th turn as he eliminates all of our cards.

Reaching that destination might involve encountering numerous challenges, but these affordable cards are here to assist us in overcoming them.

The crucial move to make is utilizing the Armor card, which ensures that no other cards can be damaged or eliminated where it’s placed.

Ideally we want to have Ant-Man, Armor, Lizard and Captain America at one location.

If all four of your opponent’s cards are in the same spot, exchanging Lizard for Mojo could lead to a more substantial advantage instead.

“We have some fantastic methods for limiting our adversary’s moves with Cosmo and Professor X. Cosmo effectively blocks all reveal abilities, while Professor X prevents any additional cards from being played at a specific location.

If you don’t pull out the Destroyer card, it’s alright as our strategies remain strong at two different spots.

The Spectrum serves as a robust shield for our game board, allowing it to be placed on top of the Destroyer even when you haven’t drawn Armor.

Anti-Meta

The Anti-Meta deck is designed around being as annoying as possible.

This deck is structured to give the impression of being unpredictable, as it primarily reacts to the moves made by our adversary rather than having a set strategy of its own.

As a gamer, I’ll crank up the price of a card in my foe’s deck with Iceman, while Scorpion will whittle down the strength of every card in their hand by one unit.

Scarlet Witch has the power to teleport herself to a different location.

To put it simply, we have numerous strategies available to counter their actions. It’s not about amassing the largest response, but rather, ensuring we effectively neutralize everything they might attempt to use against us.

Hopefully there’s something in here that you want to try!
