Best Champions in ARAM

Best Champions in ARAM

As a seasoned League of Legends player with years of experience under my belt, I can confidently say that some champions truly shine in the chaotic world of ARAM (All Random All Mid). Now, let me take you on a journey through my personal top 5 ARAM legends, each one holding a special place in my heart.

As a long-time League of Legends player, I’ve seen and experienced the excitement and challenges of various game modes. Among them, ARAM, or the “All Random All Mid” mode, stands out as a unique and thrilling experience. While Summoner’s Rift offers the traditional 5v5 team battles we all know and love, ARAM presents an entirely different scenario.

Currently, we’re in Patch 12.18, and the League of Legends World Championship is on the horizon. This gap between Worlds 2022 matches presents an excellent opportunity for a quick game of ARAM (All Random All Mid). In preparation, we’ve compiled a list of champions that perform exceptionally well in this one-lane game mode.

 8. Morgana

Best Champions in ARAM

I’ve always found Morgana to be an excellent choice in ARAM games. Her Q skill offers impressive crowd control, keeping enemies at bay. Moreover, her W is perfect for dealing some well-timed damage or harassing opponents. And let me tell you, her spell shield comes in handy when dodging powerful abilities that could otherwise disrupt my strategy. It’s no wonder Morgana enjoys a remarkable win rate of 53.59% in ARAM games.

To effectively engage with Morgana and use your ultimate skillfully in the ARAM mode, consider employing the unique Summoner Spell, Snowball. This spell will help you approach the enemy team more closely. After positioning yourself among them, unleash your ultimate. Given the focus on engagement, investing in Zhonyas Hourglass can be beneficial to ensure survival until your ultimate is fully activated.

7. Vel’Koz

Best Champions in ARAM

It’s no shock to most spectators that Vel’koz has made it to the Howling Abyss with his bizarre tentacles, signaling an chaotic event is imminent.

Vel’Koz thrives in environments where he can remain hidden and harass enemies, and the All Random All Mid (ARAM) mode is particularly suited for this playstyle, especially during the early game. In ARAM, you can easily harass all your opponents with repeated attacks, and later in the game, you become a significant threat due to your powerful ultimate ability. Consequently, this champion boasts a win rate of 53.89% in ARAM thanks to its poke damage and burst potential.

6. Sion

Best Champions in ARAM

Although Vel’Koz excels at taking down multiple enemies in ARAM due to his unique abilities, Sion presents an alternate approach for playing this one-lane game mode.

Regardless of how much support your team provides, dealing with a Sion preparing to charge at you will be challenging. Having tanks to absorb the frontline’s damage is advantageous for your team, and Sion is an excellent choice for this role.

Some individuals disapprove of tanks in ARAM, but I believe Sion could be an exciting alternative in this scenario. The thrill of charging the enemy nexus with Sion as they scramble to defend it is truly enjoyable.

5. Ziggs

Best Champions in ARAM

Not much to say here. Similar to Vel’Koz, Ziggs has various abilities that are great for poking someone down. The biggest reason why Ziggs is so strong is his R

Having a Ziggs on your team who seems inactive can be beneficial if he builds full AP and uses his ultimate skill at the right moment. The power of his ultimate can inflict significant damage on the enemy team.

4. Heimerdinger

Best Champions in ARAM

As a passionate gamer, I can’t help but get excited about the latest addition to our ARAM (All Random All Mid) squad – another wacky scientist! You see, what makes ARAM so intriguing is that it takes place on Howling Abyss, an arena with just one lane. And let me tell you, when it comes to thriving in such a compact space, Heimerdinger’s turrets truly shine. They take up a substantial portion of the playable area and can be a real headache for the opposing team as they try to navigate around them.

3. Teemo

Best Champions in ARAM

Discussing inconvenient skills that can be found on the compact Howling Abyss map, Teemo’s ultimate has a significant impact in ARAM (All Random All Mid) and effectively safeguards specific areas of the battlefield.

Initially, Teemo’s mushrooms enable you to secure healing relics in ARAM from enemy players by positioning one of his shrooms over it.

When your team falls behind, mushrooms can be a valuable asset to help safeguard the nexus. Just strategically position a few mushrooms where they could potentially benefit your team and then observe as the match unfolds.

Now, Riot has made an attempt to counteract Teemo in ARAM by increasing the vision ability of larger minions towards his shrooms. This could potentially weaken Teemo significantly, yet his ultimate skill continues to offer valuable area control for your team.

2. Brand

Best Champions in ARAM

Brand has been known for being one of the most effective champions in the ARAM (All Random All Mid) mode for an extended period. Just like Ziggs and Vel’Koz, Brand’s abilities are excellent for harassing opponents. Furthermore, his abilities can harm multiple targets at once. For instance, when a champion is “on fire” due to Brand’s passive, his E skill, “Conflagration,” also ignites neighboring enemies.

An essential factor contributing to Brand’s excellence in ARAM is certainly his unique ultimate ability. The map design in ARAM allows Brand to maximize the potential of his ultimate, as enemies are frequently clustered together and undamaged. It comes as no shock that Brand boasts a remarkable win rate of 54.51% in ARAM.

1. Sett

Best Champions in ARAM

In ARAM games, Sett has long been recognized as a formidable champion. However, following the buffs he received in patch 12.17, he now rules the roost as the ARAM monarch. With his ultimate ability enabling him to penetrate deep into the enemy team, Sett poses a significant counter to all the champion snipers commonly encountered. Furthermore, his area-of-effect spells can be downright intimidating if he manages to get up close.

If you still need persuading, Sett boasts an impressive win rate of 54.95% at the forefront of ARAM (Argent Tournament) leaderboard.

Based on my own experiences as a long-time League of Legends player, I wholeheartedly agree that win rate isn’t everything when it comes to choosing a champion to play in the Howling Abyss. While it’s true that high win rate champions may seem attractive due to their perceived strength and success, I have found that picking a champion with which I feel comfortable and confident can lead to even greater benefits.
