Benz: Nivin Pauly to play main antagonist in Raghava Lawrence starrer by Lokesh Kanagaraj?

The Lokesh Kanagaraj Cinematic Universe (LCU) is growing larger with the addition of the film “Benz,” featuring Raghava Lawrence. With the movie generating a lot of excitement, its creators have hinted at the cast, and it appears that the Malayalam actor, Nivin Pauly, will be part of it.

In a recent social media post, the creators of G Squad hinted at the arrival of their new villain, announcing that an official unveiling will take place on June 4, 2025. They subtly suggested, “You are not prepared for this,” and added the hashtag “#BenzCastReveal Tomorrow.” This gives us a glimpse into what’s to come in their series.

Although an amusing portrait of the character is absent, multiple sources suggest that Nivin Pauly might assume the primary antagonist’s part. Yet, official confirmation will come at a later stage.

Makers of Benz tease their villain character

In the forthcoming Tamil action-thriller, it is Raghava Lawrence who takes on the leading role, while Bakkiyaraj Kannan assumes the responsibilities of directing the film.

In the context of the LCU (Lokesh Kanagaraj Universe), it’s worth noting that the movie is jointly penned by Lokesh Kanagaraj himself, who also takes on a co-producing role under his independent production company. As the fourth chapter unfolds in this cinematic universe, Samyuktha, known for her role in Vaathi, will be stepping into the female lead character.

Notably, the talented musician and composer Sai Abhyankkar, renowned for his work as AA22, is set to make his first appearance as a music director in this upcoming movie.

Previously, Lokesh Kanagaraj had created a cinematic world with three movies – Kaithi featuring Karthi, Vikram starring Kamal Haasan, and Leo headlined by Thalapathy Vijay. Now, it’s revealed that Benz will be the first film in this universe not directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj himself.

Regarding Kanagaraj’s next project, the director plans to debut his new movie “Coolie” featuring Rajinikanth on the big screen soon. This upcoming action flick is scheduled for release on August 14, 2025, and Nagarjuna Akkineni and Upendra Rao will be playing significant roles within it.

In the movie, it’s anticipated that Aamir Khan will make a brief appearance. The cast also boasts several notable actors such as Soubin Shahir, Shruti Haasan, Sathyaraj, among others.

Meanwhile, Nivin Pauly has finished shooting for his movie titled Baby Girl. Additionally, you might be interested to know that he also has upcoming films such as Dolby Dineshan and Dear Students, which co-star Nayanthara, among others, lined up for him.
