In the midst of the ongoing Pasilades fire in Los Angeles, Ben Affleck relocated to his ex-wife Jennifer Garner’s residence. As a result, Affleck became one of the many celebrities compelled to leave their homes temporarily, joining the ranks of Mark Hamill and Mandy Moore. The Pasilades fire is just one of the four fires that have been ravaging Los Angeles since January 7. The other fires affecting the metropolitan area are the Eaton, Hurst, and Sunset fires.

On Tuesday, January 8, 2025, Ben Affleck, finding himself evacuated from his $20.5 million mansion due to the approaching Palisades fire, made a hurried journey to the residence of his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner. It appeared that he had been at an event, given that he was dressed in formal clothes as he drove towards his home and spotted the fire nearing his house.

Affleck’s home was quite near Garner’s. It’s uncertain whether Affleck visited her place to help Garner and their kids, or if he was already at her place due to an evacuation from his own home.

Despite the Palisades fires encroaching upon it, Affleck’s $20.5 million mansion seemed undamaged. The next day, the actor was back at the property. However, the vicinity around his house was designated as an evacuation zone.

Unfortunately, unlike James Woods and Billy Crystal, others didn’t have the same fortune as their homes were destroyed by the fires. In an interview with CNN, Woods was visibly emotional when confirming the loss of his home. He poignantly stated, “One day you’re enjoying a swim in your pool…and the next day, it’s all vanished.

In the summer of 2024, the actor known for Gone Girl bought a luxurious mansion valued at approximately $20.5 million. Often referred to as a “bachelor’s retreat,” this estate is his new home.

At the same time, Jennifer Lopez, one of Affleck’s former spouses, had her movie premiere for “Unstoppable” called off. It was a film that Affleck helped produce.
