On May 15, 2025, the well-known Telugu actor, Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas, was taken into custody by the Hyderabad Police due to an alleged infraction of traffic regulations in Jubilee Hills. Reports suggest he displayed disrespectful behavior towards a police officer.
According to a report from News18, the actor apparently drove his car incorrectly at a junction in Jubilee Hills’ Journalists Colony, continuing straight rather than turning around as he should have.
Additionally, when the traffic infraction occurred and an officer instructed him to halt, it’s reported that the individual ignored this command and continued moving forward. This action prompted the police officer to position himself in front of the vehicle and demand compliance with the regulations.
It seems this incident caused the actor to become disrespectful and impolite towards law enforcement officers, according to a complaint. As a result, the authorities have filed a report under appropriate provisions of the Motor Vehicle Act and Bharat Nyaya Sanhitha, charging him with disrespecting police officers and breaking traffic regulations.
If you haven’t heard, Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas is a well-known Telugu actor and the offspring of acclaimed producer Bellamkonda Suresh. Following his training at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in the USA and Barry John Acting Studio in Mumbai, he embarked on his acting career in 2014 with the movie Alludu Seenu, which featured Samantha Ruth Prabhu as his co-star.
Following a prosperous first role, this actor then starred in movies such as Speedunnodu, Jaya Janaki Nayaka, Kavacham, and others within the Telugu film industry. Subsequently, he expanded his repertoire by entering the Hindi film scene with Chatrapathi.
The film was a Hindi version of the movie featuring Prabhas, which was previously directed by SS Rajamouli and shared the same title.
On the professional side of Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas, he’s scheduled to star in the upcoming movie titled Bhairavam. Additionally, projects such as Tyson Naidu, Haindava, and others are lined up for him as well.
