Initially, Ramsey expressed regret, stating, “A part of me wishes I hadn’t made the announcement because I didn’t intend for it to blow up into a major news story. However, I didn’t fully grasp the magnitude of attention it would garner at the time.” In simpler terms, they admitted that they were not ready for the amount of spotlight their declaration would receive.
Moreover, Ramsey pointed out that the decision brought about favorable outcomes. He confirmed the benefits by mentioning instances where individuals expressed gratitude for having a relatable representation. To put it simply, the actor stated, “People have told me directly that it’s been beneficial for them to see someone like themselves in the role.
Regardless of the diverse responses, Ramsey ultimately believes that revealing their identity was beneficial for them on a personal level. They expressed, “All things considered, I feel it was a positive step, allowing me to live more openly, without harboring secrets.
Ramsey prefers talking about their gender identity but clarifies that it’s not a label that wholly defines them. They aim for their identity not to overshadow their life and profession, instead asking people to take a relaxed approach towards this aspect of their persona.
