As a gamer who has spent countless hours navigating through various dimensions and universes, I am beyond excited about the upcoming addition of Beetlejuice to MultiVersus! Having grown up watching the original movie and being a fan of the witty humor it brought, I can’t wait to see how this character will shake things up in the game.
At the moment, MultiVersus is progressing through Season 2, and recently incorporated Samurai Jack into its roster of characters owned by Warner Bros. Alongside Samurai Jack’s introduction, Beetlejuice – a wacky, undead character from the movie of the same name – was also announced. Initially hinted to arrive later in the season, it has now been confirmed that Beetlejuice will be available in MultiVersus on August 20, 2024.
Player First Games revealed when Beetlejuice will be available, showcasing some of the character’s abilities in a social media trailer. This includes contorting his limbs and growing spikes to harm teammates, as well as offering sneak peeks at additional skins for Beetlejuice and cosmetic items themed around Beetlejuice for existing characters.
In simpler terms, Michael Keaton won’t be playing Beetlejuice again in the game MultiVersus. Instead, another voice actor named Christopher Swindle, known for his work in games such as Starfield and Disney Speedstorm, will voice the character.
In the Multiverse, Beetlejuice is set to make his appearance by August 20, coinciding with the new movie release of Beetlejuice Beetlejuice. This marks the probable end of this season’s character additions. Keep checking Shacknews for the latest MultiVersus updates.
