Beef Season 2 Cast Adds William Fichtner, K-Pop Star BM, & More

The streaming platform Netflix has confirmed that actors William Fichtner (Prison Break, Mom), Mikaela Hoover (Superman, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3), Seoyeon Jang (Butterfly), and K-Pop star BM from KARD have joined the cast for Season 2 of the series “Beef”. In this upcoming season, Fichtner and Hoover will likely depict a wealthy couple married to each other, while BM is slated to take on the role of a former tennis player managing the country club’s tennis store. Lastly, Jang may be seen as the personal translator for the billionaire owner of the club.

Who is in the Beef Season 2 cast?

After receiving exceptional praise for Steven Yeun and Ali Wong’s performances in Season 1, Beef Season 2 is set to feature a talented group of renowned actors. This new lineup includes Carey Mulligan (from Promising Young Woman), Oscar Isaac (known for Ex Machina), Charles Melton (starring in May December), and Cailee Spaeny (Priscilla). Additionally, award-winning South Korean stars Youn Yuh-jung, from Minari and Pachinko, and Song Kang-Ho, famously known for Parasite, have joined the cast. The upcoming season will consist of eight 30-minute episodes.

In Season 2, a young duo stumbles upon a distressing argument between their superior, Isaac, and his spouse, Mulligan. This incident sets off strategic maneuvers of favors and pressure in the exclusive realm of a country club, owned by a wealthy Korean businessman named Youn, which unfolds like moves on a chessboard.

The TV show was developed, overseen, and produced by Lee Sung Jin, who’s also in charge as the showrunner. Yeun, Wong, Jake Schreier, Kitao Sakurai, Ethan Kuperberg, Anna Ouyang Moench, Mulligan, Isaac, Melton, and Spaeny are all returning as executive producers. It is a project by A2.
