Tyler Perry’s Beauty in Black Season 2 gets new teaser and release date
Tyler Perry’s hit Netflix show, “Beauty in Black,” will be back for another season on the announced release date, as hinted in its official trailer. According to the teaser, Season 2 is due to debut on September 11, 2025.
The story primarily focuses on the character Kimmie, portrayed by Taylor Polidore, as she becomes enmeshed in the complex web of conflicts within the influential and affluent Bellarie clan, who hold dominion over the cosmetics business.
At the close of Season 1, Kimmie consented to wed Horace Bellarie, portrayed by Ricco Ross. Horace sought Kimmie’s hand in marriage as a means to safeguard his empire from being inherited by his own children. Consequently, she assumes the role of matriarch within the Bellarie clan.

In March 2025, it was announced by Netflix that Season 2 of Beauty in Black would be coming.
