What happens in the Beatles ’64 trailer?
The video showcases the legendary band’s initial journey to America, offering fans exclusive, previously unseen footage captured by groundbreaking documentarians Albert and David Maysles. Additionally, it includes sneak peeks of fresh interviews with Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr. Notably, this footage was enhanced in 4k resolution at Park Road Post in New Zealand.

David Tedeschi is the one who’s guiding the music documentary. Alongside Scorsese, it’s also being crafted by The Beatles members Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr, as well as Margaret Bodde, Olivia Harrison, Sean Ono Lennon, Jonathan Clyde, and Mikaela Beardsley. Jeff Jones and Rick Yorn are the ones overseeing the project in an executive capacity.
On February 7, 1964, The Beatles made their grand entrance into New York City, triggering an unprecedented wave of enthusiasm and frenzy. Right from their arrival at Kennedy Airport, greeted by swarms of fans, Beatlemania took over New York and the nation as a whole. Their electrifying debut on The Ed Sullivan Show mesmerized over 73 million viewers, making it the most-watched television event ever. The film “Beatles ’64” showcases this spectacle, but also delves into a more personal account of the band’s journey, depicting the close bond between John, Paul, George, and Ringo as they navigated through unforeseen fame.
