Barroz: Mohanlal’s fantasy movie falls prey to piracy; full movie gets leaked online in HD quality

Mohanlal’s first directorial effort, titled Barroz, premiered in cinemas on December 25, 2024, during Christmas. However, it garnered a mix of reactions from viewers and underperformed at the box office. Regrettably, this film has become a victim to piracy and can now be found illegally on numerous online platforms.

The high-definition (HD) versions of the Barroz movie have illegally appeared on pirate sites in Tamil, Malayalam, and Telugu. Now, you can easily stream or download it with a single click and watch it in 1080p or 720p quality. Lately, there’s been an issue with piracy affecting many Malayalam movies, including Marco and Sookshmadarshini before Mohanlal’s film.

Unni Mukundan, an actor like Marco, took to his Instagram to ask his followers kindly to abstain from watching the pirated version of his film. In his own words, “Refrain from watching or downloading movies online. We are powerless in this situation. I feel powerless. The only one who can make a difference is YOU.

Actor from Drishyam shared insights behind launching Barroz in 3D on selected screens. He articulated that the movie was crafted for a 3D encounter and is best enjoyed in this format. He admitted to the availability of a 2D version but addressed queries regarding its distribution. He emphasized that producing a 3D film requires extensive years of work and isn’t an effortless task. Yet, he mentioned they may release the 2D version if required circumstances arise.
