Baron Corbin Slams Logan Paul Over WWE Special Treatment

Previously prominent WWE figure, once recognized as Baron Corbin but now known as Bishop Dyer, alleges that Logan Paul has been given preferential treatment within the WWE. Ever since he joined the company in 2022, Paul has frequently been featured in significant bouts.

At the Crown Jewel 2022 event, it was only his third WWE bout, yet Paul stepped up to face Roman Reigns for the Undisputed Title. Their extraordinary encounter, filled with intense moments, took place not just anywhere but in Saudi Arabia, leaving spectators with a performance they’d never forget.

Throughout his tenure in WWE, Paul earned the United States Championship for 273 days. Yet, his reign faced criticism due to his sporadic schedule. Over time, he’s had rivalries with high-profile stars such as Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton, Seth Rollins, Kevin Owens, Rey Mysterio, and many others.

Previously associated with WWE for a period of 12 years before departing last year, Baron Corbin now participates in independent wrestling under the name Bishop Dyer. Lately, he has voiced criticism towards Logan Paul’s journey within WWE, contending that the preferential treatment afforded to Paul has provided him with an undue advantage.

Baron Corbin calls out WWE favoritism for Logan Paul

In a conversation with Ariel Helwani on his show, Baron Corbin questioned if Logan Paul had truly gained the respect of the WWE locker room. He voiced his displeasure towards WWE apparently favoring Paul, as Paul hadn’t worked his way up through NXT like many other wrestlers typically do.

He expressed his dislike for individuals who receive special treatment without earning it. Specifically, he mentioned a certain talent who has been given opportunities that he feels are more suitable for others with greater merit. He finds it annoying when people surround themselves with an entourage, and this individual is no exception as he always seems to have one. Despite being nice people, their behavior grates on him. He’s passionate about the industry and becomes frustrated when outsiders, like this person who appears to have been given advantages from the start (whether a gold, silver, or platinum spoon), enter it. While he can acknowledge their talents, he doesn’t see himself building a close relationship with them.

Corbin maintains a strong standing within the independent wrestling world, frequently expressing disapproval of how Logan Paul is being handled by WWE. On the other hand, Paul has been involved in ongoing conflicts with AJ Styles and seems poised to battle him at WrestleMania 41.
