What do we know about Pinocchio: Unstrung and Bambi: The Reckoning?

Bloody Disgusting has unveiled the first poster for Pinocchio: Unstrung, which can be viewed below.

The upcoming movie titled “Pinocchio: Unstrung” is being helmed by director Rhys Frake-Waterfield. Preliminary plans indicate that shooting will commence in October, although an official release date for 2025 has yet to be confirmed.

In this upcoming movie, they’ll opt for practical effects in as many instances as possible, from the doll used to even the title card of the film, according to Frake-Waterfield. With a budget larger than that of his last production, Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey 2, he aims to create the ultimate horror version of Pinocchio and surpass all his previous work. Keep an eye out for upcoming cast announcements!

Blood Disgusting recently revealed a fresh promotional poster for the film titled “Bambi: The Wrath of Nature,” helmed by director Dan Allen, who brought us “Unhinged.” Take a look at the poster down below:

“Following a tragic car accident involving a mother and her son, they find themselves pursued by Bambi, a genetically altered deer grieving over the loss of his mother, who embarks on a lethal rampage seeking retribution for her death,” is one way to paraphrase the given synopsis in a more natural and easy-to-read manner. The movie is set to be released in 2025.

In the film titled “Bambi: The Reckoning,” you’ll find acting talents like Roxanne Mckee, Tom Mulheron, Nicola Wright, Samira Mighty, Alex Cooke, and Russell Geoffrey Banks gracing the screen.

“Allen remarked, ‘This movie will be truly unsettling.’ After watching this film, people are likely to flee at the sight of a wild deer in real life. The film portrays not only the end of innocence but also the potential destruction of it. Expect scenes filled with violence, sorrow, and some mischievous rabbits, along with a ruthless predator deer. Finally, the peaceful British countryside will encounter its very own Godzilla.”

Additional movies set within the Twisted Childhood Universe are as follows: “Peter Pan’s Nightmare on Neverland,” “Monstrous Pooh-niverse: Assemble,” “Winnie-the-Pooh 3: Blood and Honey,” “Awakening of Sleeping Beauty,” and “Snow White’s Return.”
