As a long-time fan of eclectic and outrageous comedy, I can hardly contain my excitement about the latest addition to the Balls Up cast – none other than the one and only Eric Andre! Having grown up on his offbeat humor from shows like The Eric Andre Show and Bad Trip, I’ve always appreciated his ability to push boundaries and make me laugh until I cry.
As a game enthusiast, I’m thrilled to share that I’ve just learned about two fantastic additions to the cast of director Peter Farrelly’s upcoming action comedy, “Balls Up”. The hilarious Eric Andre (Bad Trip, Sing 2) and the captivating Daniela Melchior (The Suicide Squad, Fast X) have joined the crew! Can’t wait to see their magic on screen!
In the upcoming film, Melchior is set to play the main female role, while more information about Andre’s character is kept confidential. This is Melchior’s latest project with Amazon MGM Studios, following his recent collaboration with Jake Gyllenhaal in the reboot of Road House, directed by Doug Liman.
Who is in the Balls Up cast?
In the ensemble for this upcoming project, we have Melchior and Andre joining forces with Mark Wahlberg (“The Other Guys”), Paul Walter Hauser (“Black Bird”), Molly Shannon (“Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby”), Eva De Dominici (“The Cleaning Lady”), and Benjamin Bratt (“Miss Congeniality”). Known for “Dumb and Dumber,” Peter Farrelly will be directing this film, with the screenplay penned by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, also known for creating “Deadpool.” The production is overseen by Wernick, Reese, David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, Don Granger, and Andrew Muscato, with Marc Fisher serving as executive producer. This project is a collaboration between Skydance and Amazon MGM Studios.
