The epic movie Baahubali, featuring Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, and Anushka Shetty, continues to be memorable for numerous reasons. Under the direction of SS Rajamouli, this film series is preparing for a re-launch in October 2025, where the two parts will be combined into one extended movie.
I can hardly contain my excitement as whispers about the extended cut of this movie have sent fans into a whirlwind! The rumors about its epic, near-5 1/2 hour running time have got everyone talking!
Rana Daggubati reacts to length runtime buzz of Baahubali The Epic
More recently, actor Rana Daggubati has spoken up about the unusual runtime issues surrounding the re-release of his movie, Baahubali.
At a pre-launch gathering for the movie “Kotthapallilo Okappudu” in Hyderabad, the actor mentioned, “Only Rajamouli himself knows what’s going on. He won’t reveal anything until everything is finalized.
Why did Anushka Shetty skip attending Baahubali reunion?
10 years have passed since Baahubali hit the screens, and the team celebrated its anniversary with a gathering. Almost every actor attended, but it appeared that Anushka Shetty wasn’t there on the night of the reunion.
As an ardent admirer, I couldn’t help but notice that the Telugu 360 report hinted at Anushka’s absence from the evening event being due to her on-screen transformation in Ghaati. In truth, she had dedicated herself to shedding pounds for her upcoming role under the direction of Krish Jagarlamudi, which is why she had been reluctant to make public appearances thus far.
When Prabhas commented on chances of Baahubali 3 being made
Regardless of personal opinions, it’s undeniable that Baahubali has become one of the most adored and highly regarded movies within the realm of Indian cinema. The two-part historical epic left audiences spellbound, and its impressive box office earnings serve as testament to its popularity.
During an earlier conversation with Rajeev Masand, Prabhas hinted at the potential for SS Rajamouli to create a third installment in the movie series.
The actor stated that he’d finished about 60% of the script for parts 1 and 2, leaving some sections still to be done.
According to what he said, “If SS Rajamouli plans to make part 3, it’s something to look forward to. He provided me with 6 scripts initially, so he might have written around 10-14. We’ve completed about 60% of the work on those. I know he’s had the idea for Baahubali 3 in mind for five years now. However, I’m unsure if we’ll actually see a third installment or not.
