Awesome! That '90s Show part 3 release date moved up to August

As a dedicated fan of “That ’90s Show,” I couldn’t contain my excitement when Netflix unexpectedly moved up the release date for part 3 from October to August! The anticipation was killing me, and I was worried that I might have to wait through another Wisconsin winter before getting more summer misadventures with Leia and her friends.

When Netflix unveiled the release date for the second season of “That ’90s Show” this year, they shared that the 16-episode sequel would be divided into two parts. The first half, consisting of eight episodes, debuted in June. Initially, we were told to anticipate the second half, which comprised the remaining eight episodes, in October. However, I’ve got some exciting news for you: You no longer have to endure that long a wait for fresh episodes!

30th July saw Netflix announce an exciting update: ‘That ’90s Show’ Part 3 will now be available a month earlier than originally planned, on August 22nd instead of October 24th. The entire third part consisting of eight episodes is now scheduled to release in August, wrapping up Leia Forman’s second summer escapades in Point Place, Wisconsin. It seems fitting that the season concludes before the end of summer itself.

1. To share the exciting news and make the announcement, the cast of “That ’90s Show” created a playful “pass-the-phone” video to unveil the revised August date. In this video, actors like Kurtwood Smith, Debra Jo Rupp, Callie Haverda, Laura Prepon, Ashley Aufderheide, Mace Coronel, Reyn Doi, Sam Morelos, and Maxwell Acee Donovan make an appearance — along with guest stars Seth Green, Will Forte, and Kevin Smith.

As a gamer, I can’t wait to find out what happens next in Stranger Things after that shocking cliffhanger in season 2. Netflix hasn’t given us a synopsis for part 3 yet, but I have a feeling Leia and her friends are in for some serious trouble when Hopper and Joyce come back. It’s not just that they had a party at the Forman house, but Leo’s son and his friend (Kevin Smith and Jason Mewes) even drove a car through the kitchen! I can only imagine how red-hot angry Red will be when he finds out about this destruction.

1. If you’re eagerly awaiting additional appearances by stars from “That ’70s Show”, unfortunately, there won’t be any unexpected cameos in part 3. However, we can look forward to seeing more of Donna in Point Place, as Laura Prepon is set to reprise her character from the original series and will also direct all eight episodes of part 3.

1. As Leia and Jay worked through their issues following a temporary setback, the showrunner hinted that Leia’s love triangle might resurface later on. Similarly, Nate and Nikki appeared to be rekindling their relationship after their split, but fans will have to wait until part 3 returns on Aug 22 to see how things progress for both couples as new developments unfold.
