With the upcoming release of Avowed, we’re getting close to stepping back into Obsidian Entertainment’s world of Eora, a place we haven’t visited since Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire in 2018. For those who have pre-ordered the game’s Premium edition, there’s an early access bonus, allowing them to start playing Avowed as early as February 13.
For everyone else, we’ll need to be patient until the official launch of Avowed on Tuesday, February 18. Here are the scheduled release times, divided into sections: one for early access and another for regular users like ourselves.
Avowed advanced access unlock time
Players with the Premium Edition will enjoy getting early access to Avowed starting at 10 am Pacific Time on Thursday, February 13.
To play Avowed before its main launch date of February 18, you’ll need to have put down $90 on a preorder of its premium edition to play five days early. Obsidian didn’t publicly reveal specific launch times for Avowed but according to the estimate listed on its Steam store page, and information we received separately from Obsidian, should be available at 10 am Pacific.

Avowed full launch release date
The official release date for Avowed is set for Tuesday, February 18, around 10 am Pacific Time. Just as with the advance access period, Obsidian and Microsoft haven’t specified exact unlock times for Avowed. However, considering that its Steam store release time for early access aligns with a standard Steam store unlock time, it’s reasonable to assume the same will hold true for its full launch on the 18th as well.
