The comeback of the Marvel Cinematic Universe by the Russo Brothers has been postponed, since Marvel Studios has moved the release dates for Avengers: Endgame and Avengers: The Kang Dynasty (or Avengers: Secret Wars).
What are the new Avengers: Doomsday & Secret Wars release dates?
The upcoming movies “Avengers: Doomsday” and “Avengers: Secret Wars” have new release dates. You can catch “Doomsday” starting December 18, 2026, and “Secret Wars” a year later on December 17, 2027. Initially, “Doomsday” was planned for May 1, 2026, but production has moved it to London with Robert Downey Jr. portraying Doctor Doom. The original release date of “Secret Wars,” set as May 7, 2027, has also been adjusted accordingly.
Thus far, quite a number of popular actors have been announced to be joining the exceptional cast of Avengers: Doomsday. Among them are Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Pedro Pascal portraying Reed Richards, Vanessa Kirby taking on Invisible Woman/Sue Storm, Anthony Mackie as Captain America, Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier, Letitia Wright for Shuri/Black Panther, and Paul Rudd assuming the role of Ant-Man.
Additional characters in the upcoming movie are Wyatt Russell portraying U.S. Agent/John Walker, Tenoch Huerta as Namor, Ebon Moss-Bachrach taking on The Thing/Ben Grimm role, Simu Liu as Shang-Chi, Florence Pugh playing Yelena Belova, Kelsey Grammer as Dr. Hank McCoy/Beast, Lewis Pullman as Bob/Sentry, Danny Ramirez portraying Joaquin Torres/Falcon, Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm/Human Torch, David Harbour in the Alexei Shostakov / Red Guardian role, Winston Duke as M’Baku, Hannah John-Kamen as Ava Starr/Ghost, and Tom Hiddleston reprising his Loki character.
In the upcoming movie, a number of characters from the X-Men team will reappear, such as Charles Xavier (played by Patrick Stewart), Magneto (portrayed by Ian McKellen), Nightcrawler (Alan Cumming), Mystique (Rebecca Romijn), Cyclops (James Marsden), and Gambit (Channing Tatum).
