These actors were seen with confirmed members of the “Doomsday” cast in the Middle East, fueling speculation that their characters, Namora and Attuma, could be integral to the “Doomsday” storyline.
Why Attuma and Namora actors could return in Avengers: Doomsday’s cast
The confirmed cast members for Avengers: Doomsday, including Anthony Mackie (Sam Wilson), Tenoch Huerta (Namor), Letitia Wright (Shuri), Simu Liu (Shang-Chi), Winston Duke (M’Baku), and others, have recently been spotted in Bahrain. This could imply that the production is either currently underway or about to start there. Additionally, Cadena and Livinalli were also seen in Bahrain with these actors, leading fans to speculate if they are also joining the cast of this much-anticipated film.

In March 2025, neither actor made it to the roster announced for the Doomsday movie. Interestingly, Marvel’s head honcho, Kevin Feige, hinted shortly afterward that the full cast of Doomsday hadn’t been finalized just yet.
As production continues, we can expect to discover more characters involved. Notably, Tenoch Huerta Mejía, who portrayed Namor in Wakanda Forever, was mentioned earlier. It’s likely that Namor’s fellow trusted allies and family members will also appear in Doomsday.

By mid-April 2025, it was officially announced on social media platforms that the filming for Doomsday, helmed by Joe and Anthony Russo, had commenced. Alongside the previously mentioned actors, the star-studded cast includes Chris Hemsworth portraying Thor, Vanessa Kirby stepping into the role of Sue Storm / Invisible Woman, Paul Rudd as Scott Lang / Ant-Man, Robert Downey Jr. playing Victor von Doom / Doctor Doom, Pedro Pascal taking on Reed Richards / Mister Fantastic, Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova, Lewis Pullman as Bob Reynolds / Sentry, and Tom Hiddleston reprising his role as Loki.
Avengers: Doomsday will premiere in US theaters on December 18, 2026.
