Avengers: Doomsday AI ‘Set Videos’ Dupe Robert Downey Jr. Doctor Doom Fans

A fresh AI-produced video featuring Robert Downey Jr.’s portrayal of Doctor Doom and Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool from the set of Avengers: Doomsday has caused a stir among fans. With the movie filming continuing, fans are eagerly anticipating glimpses of Downey Jr.’s debut as Doom and other details. However, it seems that false leaks generated by AI have been dominating social media platforms, grabbing everyone’s attention instead.

Fans almost believe in Doctor Doom’s Avengers: Doomsday AI set videos and photos

Internet users found themselves puzzled when a false AI video supposedly filmed on the set of Avengers: Doomsday began spreading online.

The video posted by @KilosMorales on X (previously Twitter) displays Robert Downey Jr.’s portrayal of Doctor Doom. Additionally, it includes Tom Holland’s Spider-Man, Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool, and Elizabeth Olsen’s Scarlet Witch. However, the video has left fans puzzled since these actors were not officially announced as part of the cast for Avengers: Doomsday.

The initial 25-second sequence features Downey Jr., dressed as Doctor Doom in a green cape, alongside Reynolds’ Deadpool. Subsequently, Downey Jr. embraces Holland, who dons the Spider-Man suit from ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’.

Later, viewers catch sight of Deadpool sprawled on a snowy landscape with Doctor Doom towering over him. Once more, these two characters share a scene where Deadpool is seated on the ground clutching a green orb, and Doctor Doom is seen behind him, donning a grey mask resembling a skull.

In the ongoing video, Tom Cruise subsequently shows up donning the Iron Man armor. Additionally, fans get to witness Elizabeth Olsen as Scarlet Witch and Chris Hemsworth’s depiction of Thor, whose likeness seems different from the actor’s image. The footage also features Robert Downey Jr. standing alongside his stunt double. Towards the end of the video, you’ll spot Elizabeth Olsen’s stunt double conversing with Vanessa Kirby, who plays Sue Storm in The Fantastic Four: The First Steps.

Initially, I had my doubts about the truthfulness of this video, but it didn’t take long for online viewers to unravel the truth – it was a cleverly crafted hoax.

Furthermore, a different user, identified as @ChaosMoogle, posted some detailed hand images from the video. The user commented, “AI is finding it challenging with these hands… It’s surprising that it hasn’t mastered our fingers yet.

Simultaneously, user @EruRoraito2000 shared pictures of the armors in the video that belonged to Doom. They commented, “Man, his armor design changes three times! This is why AI generation isn’t great – the AI barely produces a consistent detail without switching it to something completely different the next time you look at it.
