Since its launch towards the end of last year, Astro Bot has been consistently delighting players with fresh content. During this week’s PlayStation State of Play presentation, it was announced that an additional five levels will soon be added to the cherished platformer. However, be warned, as these stages promise to present a challenging experience.
Team Asobi Studio Head Nicolas Doucet has shared exciting news on PlayStation.Blog: Astro Bot is set to receive new content on July 10 at 6:00am PT, 2:00pm GMT, and 10:00pm JST! This update includes 5 fresh levels from the Vicious Void Galaxy, bringing the total level count in Astro Bot to over 90! As with our previous update, these new levels will test your gaming skills to the limit. So, get ready to grip your DualSense Controller tightly and jump into the action!
These are the five stages that players can expect to see:
- Twin-Frog Trouble
- Suck It Up
- Handhold Havoc
- High Inflation
- One unrevealed title
At the various stages, you’ll encounter new advanced robots. Doucet hints that there might be something exciting in store for those who finish the Vicious Void Galaxy. It’s worth noting that when Astro Bot becomes challenging, it can get quite tough. That’s one of the reasons we grew fond of it and bestowed several year-end awards upon it here at Shacknews, including Best Game on PS5.
