Astro Bot Platinum length makes for a surprisingly smooth trophy hunt

As someone who has spent countless hours trophy hunting and completing games on various platforms, I find myself pleasantly surprised by the Astro Bot Platinum length. Having completed the original Astro’s Playroom in just a few hours, I was initially concerned that this new standalone game would be equally brief. However, with an estimated playtime of 13-16 hours to achieve the Platinum Trophy, it seems that Astro Bot offers a more substantial experience.

PlayStation’s latest exclusive Astro Bot may be an easy sweep for trophy hunters on PS5. Just before launch, players have already determined the Astro Bot Platinum length, and it’s rather short.

Astro Bot Platinum length revealed

If you’re keen on trophy hunting in Astro Bot, you can expect a relatively straightforward journey. The initial Astro’s Playroom was completed in around 4-5 hours, but the new solo game offers a more extended experience.

According to PlayStation Game Size, Astro Bot’s Platinum Trophy can be nabbed in just 13 hours. However, some players with the ultimate trophy have taken longer at around 16 hours.

This places the Astro Bot Platinum length at around 13-16 hours. With this in mind, players have managed to complete the adorable PS5 platformer’s main story in just 8 hours.

Although some players find the game’s runtime too brief, it appears to be an optimal length for a platformer. Even though it may not extend as long as games like Star Wars Outlaws, this simply implies a more focused, refined gaming experience instead of being drawn out.

Some players are upset

Nevertheless, some players have already expressed disappointment at the length of Astro Bot with many claiming it’s “too short”.

In the comments of the Twitter thread, players complained that the game’s 100% runtime isn’t good enough for a full-priced game.

“The first one was 6-9 hours if I’m not mistaken?” one gamer moaned. “Them charging this much for a game this short no man it’s not right.”

“It takes just takes only 13-hour Platinum? The ongoing operation spans approximately 5-7-7-7 hours, for $60-7 hours, for sixty dollars sixty dollars sixty dollars 5-7 hours for $606000-7 hours, for 5—7 hours campaign-7 hours, 606060? That’s sixty6006060606060606060606060606060606060606060606060606060606060 $127 hours, for 60’said $60606006060606060-606060606060606060,00. That’s a tall ask,” said another”

As other PlayStation fans have noted, the short Astro Bot Platinum length is “fine”. As long as the game is high quality — which we bet it is — then this will be a fantastic platinum experience for PS5 players.
