Despite some online controversy and hoopla, Assassin’s Creed Shadows is one of the most anticipated games of 2025. The release date is right around the corner, and fans of the iconic Ubisoft franchise cannot wait to explore open-world feudal Japan. If you are yet to buy the game, Assassin’s Creed Shadows is available to pre-order at its cheapest price under £50.
Assassin’s Creed Shadows pre-order available for under £50
Assassin’s Creed Shadows is available to pre-order at 17% off for £49.79 exclusively on green man gaming. This is the Standard edition, but the 17% off offer is available for the Deluxe edition, too, at the price of £62.24.
Ubisoft has confirmed that Assassin’s Creed Shadows is Steam Deck verified for launch. While the green man gaming pre-order is for digital keys to redeem on Ubisoft Connect, you can play Ubisoft Connect games on Steam Deck.
If you’re a huge fan of Ubisoft’s historical series, it’s worth pre-ordering Shadows because the pre-order bonuses include “over 10 hours of additional content” in an expansion called Claws of Awaji, which will arrive sometime post-launch in 2025.
The regular price on Steam and Ubisoft Connect is £59.99 for the Standard edition, and £74.99 for the Deluxe edition. Below are the pre-order bonuses that come with each package:
Standard edition:
- Claws of Awaji expansion
- Thrown to the Dogs bonus quest
Deluxe edition:
- Claws of Awaji expansion
- Thrown to the Dogs bonus quest
- Sekiryu Dual Pack:
- Sekiryu Gear Set for both Naoe and Yasuke
- Eye of the Dragon Katana
- Claw of the Dragon Long Katana
- Sekiryu Beast Mount
- Dragon Tooth Trinket
- Hideout pack:
- Sekiryu Wagasa
- Sekiryu Tapestry
- Sekiryu Mask
- Sekiryu Mizubachi
- Mastery Points
If you don’t fancy paying a premium fee for the game, you could play via Ubisoft Plus subscription. This costs £14.99 a month, and, if you don’t particularly care about owning the game, you could subscribe for the one month, complete the game, and cancel your subscription.
As a fellow gamer, I’ve got some exciting updates about Assassin’s Creed: Shadows! Ubisoft, in good faith, has rectified some inaccuracies they posted earlier and now we have the precise requirements to run this game smoothly.
