As a cinephile with a penchant for films that push the boundaries of storytelling and visual spectacle, I can’t help but be intrigued by Justin Kurzel’s idea for a Mad Max prequel. To date, a total of five movies belong to the Mad Max series: Mad Max from 1979, followed by Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior in 1981, Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome in 1985, Mad Max: Fury Road in 2015, and Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga coming up in 2024.
