As a long-time fan of Emily in Paris, I must say that season 4 part 2 has been nothing short of a delightful journey! The bubbly spirit and fabulous fashion of our beloved Emily have once again graced our screens, accompanied by an impeccable soundtrack that perfectly captures the essence of Parisian life.
The fourth season, specifically part 2, of the show “Emily in Paris” has concluded, airing on September 12. Once more, Emily navigates through professional and personal struggles, yet she does so with an effervescent attitude, stylish wardrobe, and a captivating soundtrack to accompany her journey. Moreover, there’s a fresh original character by Mindy introduced in season 4 part 2 for viewers to become enamored with!
In the final episode of season 4, Mindy travels to Rome with Emily, where they both spontaneously play a song Mindy had been composing on a piano in a town square. The performance, captured by a tourist, quickly becomes popular online. Later, Emily gives the song the title “Beautiful Ruins,” which perfectly encapsulates its charm. Ashley Park’s talent shines once again as she performs another original composition for the series, leaving us all eagerly anticipating more!
In part 2 of the series, Park offers more musical performances than the first part. During the seasonal opener and another episode, she delivers a heartwarming rendition of “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” and a seductive burlesque version of Britney Spears’s timeless hit “Oops!… I Did It Again.” Reminiscent of the originals, her covers quickly become memorable.
In the second half of Emily in Paris season 4, Ashley Park continues to shine with her diverse skills as Mindy, and the show maintains its classic romantic-comedy atmosphere set against the backdrop of Paris. However, this time around, there’s a delightful Italian influence woven into the storyline. In the final episodes of the season, you’ll find some unexpected American pop songs playing – an unusual yet exciting departure from the series’ usual French music selection.
In the fourth part of the series, both Lizzo’s track “2 Be Loved (Am I Ready)” and Gracie Abrams’ song “Close to You” provide the perfect soundtrack for crucial romantic scenes. At the wrap party, Lily Collins posted a video with Lizzo’s song playing, which turned out to be a hint. As the season concluded, there was a poignant touch of romance (without revealing any spoilers) accompanied by Gracie Abrams’ infectious single “Close to You.
