Speaking of the song “Kissik”, it was composed by Devi Sri Prasad and debuted at a lavish event in Chennai. This special occasion was graced by the entire cast, including Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, and Sreeleela was also present.

Although some viewers have been captivated by the energetic tune, many have lauded Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s portrayal in Oo Antava from the initial film installment, Pushpa 1: The Rise, stating that it is even more alluring than the latest one.

It had been long-circulated as a rumor that Samantha Ruth Prabhu might have a special role in the dance sequence alongside Sreeleela and Allu Arjun. Yet, these rumors lacked any concrete basis.

Initially, both Shraddha Kapoor and Triptii Dimri were considered for the special dance number. But eventually, the role went to Sreeleela.

According to an article by Siasat, it’s rumored that Sreeleela received a smaller payment for her dance sequence compared to what Samantha earned in the previous version of the movie.

While Samantha earned a fee of INR 50 crores for singing “Oo Antava” in Pushpa 1: The Rise, contrastingly, Sreeleela was compensated with INR 2 crores for her performance in Kissik.

Pushpa 2: The Rule, directed by Sukumar, hits theaters on December 5, 2024.
